Aquatic Ecology
This project represents M&N Wildlife, LLC’s first foray into aquatic ecology, and as such, highlights the adaptability we’re known for. Aquatic macroinvertebrates can be important indicators of stream health, so we sampled nearly 5,000 of them to better understand aquatic ecosystem health in the Bitterroot National Forest.
From securing funding to developing sampling protocols, assembling a skilled team, collecting and analyzing data, and writing reports, we handled every aspect of this project from start to finish. Our rigorous procedures were developed with replicability in mind to enable other researchers to expand on this pilot project.
